Very right on! Character design is really crucial to any story. The shape and build of a characters suggest/reveal so much about them. It also helps create a visual shorthand that can aid in moving the reader thru the story. Nice stuff!

I heard you saying you were surprised by a realization of how short the drive feels for the perceived quality of relationships you have in Eugene. Its a great thing when you can just be "you" with people you are actually related to. Not many people get such good karma.
It sounds like you'll pack up the girls and make the drive more often. Happiness all around!

Hey Nick!

Great idea!

I'd love to follow your Sequential Media Videos!

How are you handling "subscriptions?" Send me an email link or will there be an RSS feed or... ?

How about bullet points on your left to go along with what you are saying. And/or cut to a graphic/image/text while we can still hear your voice. I need visuals and examples to go along with what you are saying.

Also wondering why your voices sounds like you have a lisp and there is a lot of static in the background... I've seen some of your other videos and they seem like better audio quality.

Keep me updated!

Jen G

Oh no no no no.

You are not doing this.

If you play the waiting game, there will never be a "right place and a right time" to get started again. Instead you need to exercise persistence and diligence. Life will always distract, hinder, and in some cases halt your goal. The solution is not patiently waiting for life to leave, it's pushing back against it as hard as it's pushing against you.

Trust me, Nick, you have to press on with this project, or it will never be completed. This is a long book you're writing and there's going to be worse--much worse--things that will halt its development. This is a test to your loyalty to your project. Are you going to let life stop something this important to you?

I know you can do it.

--A
