Shari B. Ellis began her animation career as an assistant at Disney Feature Animation and coordinator on Atlantis: The Lost Empire.
In February of 2022 she became Associate Producer for Stillwater at Gaumont Animation, one of the oldest film companies in the world.
Shari is th-e founder of Oh Shari Productions which is focused on representing people of color, LGBTQIA+, and older populations in animation.
Her creation Fangirl is an adult animated series about an insecure record company exec saving the very existence of music from an energy stealing menace.
